Week of October 16, 2017
Attendance Last Week:  96.44%!  Congrats on meeting our attendance goal of 96%!

This week all Fort Zumwalt students will be celebrating Digital Citizenship Week and participating in special activities during Technology class and Library increasing their knowledge of using technology responsibly.  Being a good digital citizen is more than knowing your way around the web. It is about connecting and collaborating in ways you did not even know were possible. Throughout the month, Mrs. Mueller, our Technology Teacher, will be presenting lessons on the following components:

·         Internet Safety

·         Privacy and Security

·         Relationships and Communication

·         Cyberbullying and Digital Drama

·         Digital Footprints and Reputation

·         Self-Image and Identity

·         Information Literacy

·         Creative Credit and Copyright

Book Fair Helpful Hints:
*Talk with your child about their purchase.  Do you want them to get books?  What types of books?  How much can they spend on posters, toys, etc?
No tax on these purchases.
*Please do not send in bags of uncounted coins.
*Send all money for book fair in an envelope or zipped bag with child’s first/last name, teacher name and amount.
*Talk to your child about keeping this money to themselves, in their backpack, etc. until ready to shop.
*Students may shop at the book fair one time per day.  All students will have the opportunity to shop during their library time.
*To shop at the very beginning of the day, students need to first get their breakfast, go to the classroom and get permission from the teacher.
