Attendance Last Week:  96.44%!  Congrats on meeting our attendance goal of 96%!  


Parent-Teacher Conferences:

We thank you for joining us for Parent-Teacher Conferences this week.  If you need to schedule or reschedule a conference with your child’s teacher, please call our school office at 636-980-1800.  Our office staff will be happy to assist you.  Please be on time for your conference, as our teachers have a very tight schedule in order to meet with all parents of their students.  You will receive your child’s report card during the conference.  

Book Fair:

Our book fair will be open during school hours this week and will be open during conferences to give parents an opportunity to shop for books and gifts.  Did you know you could help build your child’s classroom library?  Teachers have selected books that you may purchase and gift to the classroom. Ask parent volunteers for more information.

Wednesday, October 25:  Parent-Teacher Conferences 5PM – 8PM    Book Fair is open in the large gym. 

Thursday, October 26:  NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS;   Parent-Teacher Conferences 10AM – 8PM    Book fair is open in large gym. 

Friday, October 27 & Monday, October 30:  FALL BREAK   NO SCHOOL 

Week of October 31:  RCE Celebrates Red Ribbon Week

Tuesday, October 31:   Fall Parties  2:15 – 3:15  PM  Read below for more information. 

Tuesday, October 31:  No after school clubs will be held on this day.  Happy Trick or Treating!  


  • Tips for Preparing for safe and fun parties at school on Monday. 
    Parties are from 2:15 - 3:15 PM.
  • Parents may attend parties to assist with activities.  Please make arrangements for childcare for children who are not of school age.  ALL parents MUST have a current Volunteer Request Form on file for this school year.  
  • Parent check in for parties begins at 1:45 PM.  Parents will remain in the main area of school until parties start.  

  • Please have photo identification ready. We will be utilizing staff that may not know you at the check in tables. 

  • Room parents can go to classrooms at 2:00 PM to set up for parties. 

  • Students should BRING (not wear) costumes to school and will change before and after parties.  Students should be able to dress themselves

  • NO masks 

  • NO scary clown costumes.  

  • Save all hair dye, face makeup/paint for Trick or Treating that night.  

  • Keep all toy weapons, such as swords, guns, light sabers, etc. at home.  

  • Any adults in costume must be recognizable: no masks or full face paint.

  • Parking:  please do not park along the front sidewalk.  We need to keep this clear for emergency vehicles.   Cars need to be moved immediately following the parties so that buses may enter our lot safely.  

  • Teachers will have sign out sheets in the classroom if you desire to sign your child out following the party.
